| Event Description | The City of Armadale, in joint venture with the Forever Project, is hosting the upcoming Fire: Recovery and Resilience Expo, which is taking place on 4th November 2018, from 9:30am to 4:00pm at the Roleystone Hall. The expo is free of charge and open to all resident of the City of Armadale to attend. The event will provide an opportunity for residents to learn about protecting their homes from bushfire. Guest speakers Chris Ferreria (gardening guru), Rohan Carboon (Bushfire Safety Consultant), and Richard Hammond (Bushfire Safety Architect) will be presenting talks on how residents can protect their homes from bushfire, whilst minimising impacts to the environment. The expo brings together relevant industry experts in the interest of conveying to local residents how they may prepare their homes to reduce the risk of bushfire. The expo comprises key note presentations as well as a number of stalls run by local businesses that provide fire mitigation services and products.
